About the Chiara Center
The Chiara Center offers hospitality to those seeking peace; provides an environment, experience and resources for contemplative living; and develops programs and services to promote a spirituality of healing. The Center provides a quiet, peaceful, contemplative environment for individuals or groups seeking to nourish their personal, spiritual and professional lives. The grounds are covered with mature native Illinois trees, walking paths and shrines, expansive lawns, and wooded areas.

Overnight lodging offers 30 private guestrooms in a quiet, informal setting. Each spacious single or double occupancy guestroom is furnished with a recliner, two full size beds, a television, wireless Internet access and a private bath with a shower. In addition, each floor has a small kitchen with an adjoining dining space and lounge. An exercise room, computer room, and laundry room are available for guests.
